I made it entirely handmade by selecting the material, cutting, smocking, adding embroidery, and finally sewing and hand stitching.
Fabric
Dotted swiss voile lawn - also known as a swiss dot, clipped/clip dot and dobby dot is a fine cotton voile/lawn accented by small regular dots or tufts. It is one of the most popular heirloom fabrics used in children and babies clothing.
